Kuzhupilly Shri Balakrishna Swamy Temple

Kuzhupilly Shri Balakrishna Swamy Temple, popularly known as Vypeen Guruvayoor, is situated at the center of Vypeen Island, Ernakulam District. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, also called as Shri Balakrishna Swamy by locals.

Sub temples for Lakshmi Devi, Ganapati, Hanuman, Garuda, Navagraha and Nagaraja are seen inside the temple complex. The walls of the temple are decorated with decorative paintings of Dashavtar.

Vypeen is connected by ferry with Fort Kochi and High Court jetty, Ernakulam. There are bus services on the island.
