Kurumathur Arya Vaidya Sala (KAVS) is an ayurvedic healing center near the Sir Syed College, at
Karimbam in
Kannur District. Established in 1994, the hospital offers a range of authentic medicines and treatments to the patients from India and abroad.
This 100-beded hospital has deluxe rooms, special rooms and general wards with all amenities. Highly experienced nursing staff meets all the requirements of the patients. Specially trained instructors are here to impart Panchakarma therapy and rejuvenation therapy. Most of the medicines and oils used in various treatments are produced by their own manufacturing division. A fully equipped laboratory, canteen and pharmacy are available within the campus itself.
KAVS has other branches at Taliparamba (near tempo stand) and Kannur (Near municipal bus stand).
Karimbam is about 3 km east of Taliparamba. The nearest railhead is Kannur Railway Station.
