Kurudumale, associated with numerous legendary stories, is near Mulbagal and is one of the tourist destinations in
Kolar District. The village is famous for a Ganesh Temple and a Someshwara Temple. Local legends say that the idol of
Lord Ganesh in the Ganesh Temple was installed by the Hindu Trinity of
Brahma,
