Kumhrar

Remains of the ancient city of Pataliputra were unearthed from Kumhrar. The place is at a distance of 5 km from Patna Railway Station. Relics belonging to periods from BC 600 to 600 AD had been found during excavations. Among them is the huge 80-pillared hall belonging to the Mauryan dynasty.
