Kumarwah Lake, near Chachiot in
Mandi District, is a scenic lake at a distance of 40 km from
Mandi. It is believed to be sacred and the unique feature is that all the gold and silver offerings gathered at a shrine nearby are thrown in this lake.
There prevail several beliefs and legends regarding this lake. An annual fair celebrated here is famous all over the country.
