Kulkuls are traditional sweets of
Goa made during the
Christmas season. Preparation of this treasured recipe involves the whole family. Kulkuls are made from dough made with flour, sugar, fat and eggs. The spiral-shaped, deep fried Kulkuls can be sugarcoated by dipping them in thick sugar syrup. Like most Goan sweets, it contains coconut. It is customary that this along with other Christmas cookies and cakes are distributed to friends and family.
