Kuli La Pass is situated south of
Chaksachan La Pass and west of Lingti River. Situated at an altitude of 4880 m above sea level, the pass joins
Lingti Valley with the Syrma Valley in eastern Spiti.
It is the gate to the
Spiti Valley from the west. There is a motor-able road, which connects
Batal in the upper
Chandra Valley and the first village
Losar of the Spiti Valley. Even though, it has a steep ascent, it is not difficult from the upper Chandra Valley.
The pass is crossable on foot during May to October. Depending on snowfall, the pass is motor-able from early August to late September.
