Kulasekhara Pillayar Devasthanam




Kulasekhara Pillayar Devasthanam is a sacred spot located on Punnen Road in Statue Junction of Thiruvananthapuram. This ancient temple is the abode of Lord Ganesh, also called as Kulasekhara Pillayar by the locals.

The beautiful temple complex is also home to the sub deities of Madan Thampuran and Lord Shiva with his consort Goddess Parvati. Breaking of coconut is the main offering at the temple. Vinayaka Chaturthi, celebrated here amidst much pomp and splendor, attracts a large number of people from far and near.

Trivandrum International Airport (9 km) and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (2 km) are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
