Kukru is a scenic village on the
Maharashtra -
Madhya Pradesh border, at
Bhainsdehi, in
Betul District. It is situated on the lap of
Satpura Range and about 75 km from the district headquarters,
Badnur.
The village is a major site for the wind power generation in the state. An old
Shiva temple built of carved stones is the worth visiting spot in this vicinity.
Bhopal Airport and Betul Railway Station serve Kukru. A gravel road connects Kukru with Bhainsdehi.
