Kukkreshwar Mahadev Temple is situated to the west of
Annapurna Temple in
Chittorgarh. It is on the banks of the Kukkreshwar Kund. An old inscription near the temple states that Raja Kukkureswar erected this temple in 755, and excavated the fountain.
