Krishnanagar is prominent town and a taluk headquarters in Sarguja District of Chhattisgarh. It is around 100 km north of Ambikapur.

Ramanuj Ganj is around 20 km east and Wadrafnagar is around 25 km west. Tatapani and Semarsot Wildlife Sanctuary, popular tourist destinations in the district, are south-east of Krishnanagar.

Raipur Airport is the nearest airport. Nearest major railhead is Anuppur Junction Railway Station. Bishrampur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
