Kraft Bazaar is located adjoining to the Oasis Tourist Resort near the Karna Lake in
Karnal,
Haryana. It is set up by the tourism department of state government to provide goods at cheaper rates.
The Bazaar encompasses beautifully designed huts/shops which create the atmosphere of a traditional bazaar. In addition to 48 shops, there are two exhibition halls for crafts, a green room for artistes and a stage for cultural programmes. Fast food services, children's park, office store and ticket counters are the other facilities available. Landscaped environment, foot paths and lighting enhance the beauty of the bazaar.
Popular of the items sold here include handloom products of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, phulkari suits, Banaras silk items, cane furniture, artificial and glass jewelry, sandalwood and bone items, terracotta articles, wood carving furniture, hand embroidery, tin and foil painting and straw picture.
The bazaar is open throughout the year.
