Kotgal

Kotgal is situated 20 km north-east of Malewara, near Gadchiroli District’s north-eastern border with Chhattisgarh, in Maharashtra. It is 16 km south-east of Bergaon and around 25 km south of Markakasa. Muramgaon is situated 43 km south-west of Kotgal.

The temple complex at Markandeshwar, Vairagad Fort and the sacred site of Ekora are places of tourist interest in the district.
