Established in 1981, Engineering College in
Kota,
Rajasthan, is an autonomous institution imparting high quality education. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),
New Delhi and is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan,
Jaipur.
Under-graduate and post-graduate engineering courses are offered. The branches of study include Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Electronics, Production and Industrial, and Thermal Engineering. Various academic workshops and short term courses are also conducted. Classes are taken by a group of well-educated and experienced teachers.
The college has a sprawling campus that has hostel facilities, a well-stocked library, shopping complex, dispensary, guest house, gymnasium, auditorium, staff residences, bank, and post office. ‘Manthan’ is the name of the college magazine that is published annually. Facilities for conducting sports, games, and a variety of co-curricular activities are also available. On-campus recruitment is made possible by the placement and training cell of the college. The campus also houses a career development cell and an entrepreneurship development cell.
