Kopili is a 3,000 acres tea garden at
Umrangsu in
North Cachar Hills District of
Assam. It is situated around 2,000 ft above the sea level and named after the sacred Kopili River.
Owned by Ambootia Estate in Darjeeling, it is the only one estate in the state having this kind of elevation. The estate is surrounded by dense and evergreen rain forests and the tea is noted for its unique flavor.
Lumding Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
