Koothattukulam Mahadeva Temple is located at
Koothattukulam, 17 km to the south of
Muvattupuzha town in
Ernakulam District. It houses an idol of the child-incarnation of
Lord Shiva. The temple is famous for its unique architectural styles and other distinct characteristics. The epic
Ramayana, inscribed on a wooden slab, is treasured in this temple.
