Kondana Caves is located in
Karjat. These rock-cut caves are Buddhist caves complete with
stupa,
chaitya,
vihara, and sculptures. Much of the front, floor, and stupa was damaged during an earthquake in the 1900s.
Smoking, and peeling citrus fruits or onions and other aromatic foods are not allowed nearby.
