Kokileswarar Temple is located at Tirukkozhambam near
Kumbakonam in
Thanjavur District. The temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva. The temple occupies an area of about 2 acres. There are images of Bhikshandakar, Sattanathar and Natarajar in the temple. This temple is attributed to the pious Chola queen Sembiam Mahadevi.
