Kokilamukh is a tribal village in
Jorhat District. The place, surrounded by water bodies and forests, is a favorite haunt of migratory birds.
It is close to Nimati, a major river port of Jorhat District as well as of upper Assam. Auniati Satra, a famous Vaishnavite satra, is 10 km north of it. Gohaingaon, Habialgaon and Rajgurugaon are the nearby places.
Mariani Junction Railway Station, about 15 km away from Jorhat, is the nearest railhead.
