Kojagar is a festival celebrated in
Bageshwar of
Uttaranchal. Considered as minor
Diwali, it is observed on the full moon days of September and October. During the festival, people worship
Goddess Lakshmi by lighting the Diwali lamps. The women keep fast. Pakwan (pudding) and sweetmeats are offered to the Goddess and taken by people themselves.
