Kizhoor Karthyayani Temple is among the famous temples in
Thrissur District of
Kerala. It is situated at Kakkad, about 2 km from
Kunnamkulam.
The temple is dedicated to Bhagavathi. An annual festival called the Karthika Ulsavam held here is a major draw. Close to the temple is the famous Vivekananda College.
The cultural capital of the state, Thrissur is about 22 km south of Kunnamkulam. The convenient railway station is at Guruvayoor.
