Kirti Stambh

Kirti Stambh is a historical monument situated at Vadnagar in Mehsana District of north Gujarat. The two magnificent triumphal arches are the older remains of Vadnagar. Beautifully carved gates mark the entrance to the town. These arch gates are made of red and yellow sandstone without mortar or other cementing material. The arch is a classic example of Indian sculpture. It is attached to the bracket capitals of the pillars.

Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Kashivishweshwara Shiva Temple, Swaminarayan Temple and Sitla Mata Temple are some of the other attractions in Vadnagar.

By road, Vadnagar is linked with Modhera, Patan, Siddhpur and Unjha.
