Kirti Glacier, also known as Kirti Bamak, is situated at an altitude of 4886 m in
Uttarkashi District of
Uttaranchal. It is one among the seven tributaries of the
Gangotri Glacier. The other glaciers merging into the Gangotri Glacier, along with the Kirti Glacier, include Raktvam Bamak,
Chaturangi Bamak, Swachhand Bamak, Ghanohim Bamak, Miandi Bamak and Meru Bamak. One can get a good view of the Kirti Glacier from the
Bhilangana valley.
