Kinema Curry

Kinema Curry is a main side-dish consumed by most of the inhabitants of the Darjeeling hills of West Bengal and Sikkim in India. Kinema or fermented soybeans are usually deep-fried or pan-fried in small patties with onions, tomatoes and turmeric powder and then salted and served as meat substitute along with cooked rice in meals.
