Khwaja Bande Nawaz




Khwaja Bande Nawaz, a magnificent building in the Indo-Saracenic style, is located in Gulbarga District of Karnataka. It is the tomb of Khwaja Bande Nawaz, a Sufi saint.

There is a library with over 10,000 books on various subjects in Urdu, Persian and Arabic. Thousands of Hindus and Muslims visit here to pay homage to the saint.

The place is famous for the annual Urus festival attended by thousands of people of various religions. This festival appears on 15th of every lunar month.

Gulbarga Bus Station and Gulbarga Railway Station are the nearest bus station and railhead.
