Khupielili Dance




Khupielili is one of the dance forms performed by the Pochury tribe of Nagaland during Nazu festival, a 10 day long festival held in February. The dance is done by women folk, and the dancers wear Asounyi, Kiileniinyi, Achukhre, Akhi, Akhusa and Asker. This dance is renowned for the harmonious movements of hands and legs accompanied by songs of different tunes and beats.
