A historical place, Khaspur is located in
Cachar District and is around 25 km north-east of
Silchar.
It was the capital of the erstwhile Kachari Kingdom. The place is dotted with ruins of palaces, temples, walls and tanks. Ruins of a brick built two storied palace, temple of Ranachandi and Vishnu are the major interests.
