Kharpaka is a beautiful hamlet in
Giridih District of
Jharkhand. It is an ideal place for tourists, with its scenic beauty and calm atmosphere. Pirtand, located on the
Giridih-Dumri state highway, is quite near Kharpaka.
Parasnath, a sacred town rich in Jain heritage, is easily accessible from here. Madhuban in Pirtand, noted for a 2000 year old temple and Jain museum, Parasnath Hill, Parasnath Temple, and Usri Fall are the major tourist attractions. Some of the nearby places are Kurko, Chainpur, Chirki and Palganj.
