Khara Pathar

Khara Pathar, surrounded by lush green hills, is located in Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh. It is about 5 km east of Jubbal and lies on the Shimla-Rohru road.

The area takes its name after a huge free-standing egg shaped boulder. The boulder is an eye-catching sight and it is worn smooth by ages of erosion.
