Khajoor Gur Sandesh is another type of
sandesh. Also known as Nalin sandesh, this sweet is prepared from date jaggery (date gur) between November and February, when dates are plentiful. This dry Bengali sweetmeat is made from sweetened and flavored milk solids and date jaggery and molded into small shapes. This product is considered a delicacy and fetches a high price.
