Khajipeta




Khajipeta is 14 km from Warangal and 140 km from Hyderabad. Khajipeta was founded by Asafzahi II. 'Jrusu', the 8 day festival held here in June and July, in the memory of Afzalsha Biyabani draws a large number of Muslims from far and near. The Christian festival of 'Taliyamil' is also a prominent event here and is held amidst much pomp and splendor.

It is also a major railway junction on the Chennai-New Delhi and Hyderabad-Pune line.
