Khachoedpalri Mela, also known as Butter Lamp Floating Festival, is held either in the month of March or April at the Khachoedpalri Lake in
West Sikkim District. During this festival the lake is lit beautifully with floating butter candles. There is an ancient small
Gompa situated at a few hours hike from the lake.
