Kerh

About 12 km north-east of Barwadih, in Latehar District, lies Kerh, a small town. It is located near the district's border with Palamu District.

The Auranga River flows nearby. Tataha Pani near Barwadih and Mirchaiya Waterfalls near Garu are the picnic spots in the immediate vicinity. Palamu Tiger Reserve the other prominent attraction near Kerh.

The state capital, Ranchi is about 133 km sout-east. The nearest airport is Ranchi Airport. Barwadih Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Kerh is connected to Daltonganj, the headquarters of Palamu District, via Kechki by direct road.
