Kendrapada

Kendrapada is the administrative headquarters of Kendrapada District, in Orissa. It is 80 km north-east of Bhubaneswar.

Places of tourist interest include Kanika Palace, Dangamal and Gahrimata Beach. The annual car festival held in the Lord Baladeva temple is a major draw. A trip to the Bhitarkanika Sanctuary and National Park will be an interesting option.

Nearest airport is at Bhubaneswar. Cuttack Railway Station is a major railhead nearby. National Highway 5A passes through Kendrapada. By road, Kendrapada is linked with Jajpur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack (65 km), Bhadrak and Angul.
