Phek District and lies on the National Highway 150. It is also spelt as Krikima and Chekrima.
Kekrima is located at an altitude of 3,969 ft above sea level. Phek is about 28 km north-east of Kekrima.
Dimapur Airport and Dimapur Railway Station are the nearest access points.
