Keezhariyoor is a small village located in
Quilandy of
Kozhikode District,
Kerala. Situated on the banks of Akalapuzha and Neliadipuzha, the village is blessed with coconut palms and endless stretch of green foliage and is a place of indescribable natural beauty and historical importance. Covering an area of about 11 sq km, the village is famous for Arjunankunnu Caves. Keezhariyoor is also known as the cradle of agrarian revolutions. The residents of this village conducted a historic battle against the British imperialism during 1942-43.
Nearest airport is at Kozhikode. Quilandy Railway Station, on the Kannur-Kozhikode line, is the nearest railway station. Transportation facilities are available from Quilandy to Keezhariyoor.
