A non vegetarian recipe of
West Bengal, this dish is prepared using minced mutton and rice. Minced mutton is cooked along with sauteed ginger, garlic, onion and chilly paste and powdered spices. Black cumin seed and white oil is used in this preparation. Cooked rice is mixed with the mutton in layers and garnished with lemon leaf before serving.
Yoghurt blended with mustard oil and
chile mustard relish goes well with Keema rice.
