Katuri Medical College and Hospital (KMC) is located on the
Guntur-
Chennai National Highway at Katuri Nagar, in Guntur,
Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated to N T R University of Health Sciences,
Vijayawada.
Katuri Medical College offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course with n intake of 100 students a year as permitted by the Government of India and approved by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi. The library is equipped with all the modern facilities including audiovisual aids, computers, CD-ROM databases and internet. The library has separate areas for students, faculty and research workers. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls.
The hospital attached to the college has 750 bedded with advanced medical equipments catering to multi-specialty disciplines. It has a number of senior consultants specializing in general surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, ophthalmology, general medicine, dermatology, leprosy, psychiatry, anesthesia, radio diagnosis and physiotherapy.
