Vishnu, Katkaraiappan Temple is one of the ancient temples located at Thirukatkara, about 14 km north east of
Irinjalakuda. Main attraction of this temple is a circular image of Lord
Vamana. Besides, the temple houses the idols of Goddess
Mahalakshmi and Lord Sastha. The inscription of the temple which dates back to the 10th century has archaeological importance.
