Katachpur

Situated about 200 m to the west of the Warangal-Mulug Road, Katachpur village in Andhra Pradesh houses old temples and is popular for its natural beauty. There is a large tank, Katachpur tank, which lies to the north of the village. Main attractions are the two ancient temples located on the southern bund of this tank. The architectural features of these temples resemble that of the temples found at Trikuta, Palampet, Ghanapur and Hanamkonda. Both the temples are similar in architecture and size and are bounded by massive stone masonry walls. By road, Palampet is easily accessible. Hyderabad Airport is the nearest airport.
