Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park is located in the Jubilee hill area of
Hyderabad.
Spread over an area of 350 acres, the park is abound with more than 500 kinds of flora, 130 species of birds, 20 different kinds mammal, 20 varieties of reptiles and numerous invertebrates. It shelters jungle cats, palm civets, wild boars, hares, mongooses, monitor lizards, peafowls, partridges, quails, pythons, cobras and other snakes. The park is covered by southern tropical deciduous forest.
Some historic monuments, including the Chiran palace of a former Nizam of Hyderabad, are housed within the park.
The park is open from 06:00 to 08:00 hrs and 16:00 to 18:00 hrs.
