Kasturba Gandhi Samadhi is situated in the
Aga Khan Palace grounds in
Pune. Kasturba, the wife of
Mahatma Gandhi, had died in the palace. The samadhi was built on the spot where she was cremated.
The memorial consists of a gently condescend path along with a series of parallel brick walls leading to the samadhi. On the way there are several ramps from where the surrounding garden can be viewed. The memorial also houses a modest museum devoted to Kasturba Gandhi.
