The Kartik Cultural Festival of
Haryana is held at the Nahar Singh Mahal, in
Ballabhgarh, in
Faridabad District. This annual festival organized in the month of November with the aim of promoting the fort ambience, martial arts both Indian classical music and dance and a rich variety of folk theatre. The fort, the venue of the festival, was built by the forefathers of Raja Nahar Singh around 1739.
Kartik Cultural Festival is the combined effort of Haryana Tourism working with a number of allied agencies including the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Department of Cultural Affairs and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan.
