The Karnataka Mountaineering Association (KMA) was founded in 1966 at
Bangalore to expose children and youth to adventure and outbound activities. It organizes various adventure activities such as Himalayan climbing expeditions, rock climbing training camps, cycling and bike trails, desert trekking expeditions, and skiing and white water rafting in the
Himalayas. Exclusive programs are available for groups.
KMA offers training in various institutions and conducts exhibitions, talks and slide shows on mountaineering. Besides, it supports other clubs to organize adventure activities.
The membership of the association is open to all who are above 12 years of age.
