Karnataka Golf Association (KGA), established in 1973, maintains one of the most modern golfing centers in India. Located at Challaghata, the association offers 9-hole championship course with Par 72 and 6044 meters. The magnificent clubhouse is the centre of social activities and has a main lounge, an AC dining hall and an exclusive veranda. The health club consists of a swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and sauna and steam facilities. There is also a well stocked library, an air-conditioned card room and billiards room.
Karnataka Golf Association also undertakes catering for all occasions. The catering facilities consist of a South Indian kitchen which serves Chinese, continental and Indian delicacies. The golf club hosts many championships throughout the year.
Temporary memberships are available for both Indians and foreigners. Member’s guests are also permitted here.
Bangalore City Junction Railway Station and Bangalore International Airport is the nearest railhead and airport. Taxis and buses are available from Bangalore to Challaghata.
