Karma Drubgyu Thargay Ling is a Mahayana Buddhist nunnery founded by an English woman named Freda Bedi in 1962 to assist nuns arriving in India after escaping from the Chinese occupation of Tibet. Situated at Tilokpur, about 32 km south-west of
Dharamsala, it is a congregation of dedicated female practitioners who live to study and practice ideals and teachings of
Lord Buddha.
