Karimganj is located in
Mainpuri District of
Uttar Pradesh. It is about 9 km from
Mainpuri.
Once it was a flourishing town and fragments of some gateways can be found even today on both sides of the road passing through the area. Numerous remnants of brick houses exist in the vicinity. A broken image catches the eye near the road. Remnants of a fort which once belonged to Khan Bahadur Khan, a noted adventurer who lived here about two centuries ago, can be found here. A water body can be also found here.
The nearest railway station is at Mainpuri.
