Karhal is a prominent town in the southern parts of
Mainpuri District in
Uttar Pradesh. It lies on the Mainpuri - Etawah Road. Karhal is 27 km south of
Mainpuri.
It has a number of commercial and industrial establishments. Devi Mela, Jaini Mela, Ram Lila and Jagdhar Mela are some of the important fairs held here regularly, which attract a large number of people.
Agra Civil Enclaves is the nearest airport. The nearest railway station is at Etawah, 25 kmsouth-east of the town.
