Set on an area of 38 acres, Karanji Mansion was built in 1902. It is a fine specimen of the Indo-Saracenic Renaissance style of architecture. It became popular as Karanji Mansion as it is close to the Karanji Tank. The Postal Training Institute of the Department of Posts and the museum of the Postal history of the country are housed in this mansion.
