Kapur Talao is an artificial lake situated at
Mandu in the
Dhar District of
Madhya Pradesh. The word 'Kapur' means 'camphor' and 'Talao' means 'lake'. Located near
Jahaz Mahal, it was a precious source of water and natural beauty in Mandu. Here visitors can see ruins of a big water-gate and a crib. There are several palace buildings near the lake.
